In the book THE RAGAMUFFIN GOSPEL, Brennan Manning tells the story of a man who had sinned greatly.

He repented. He wanted healing, so he went to the LORD, and said, "Lord, they won't let me in because I am a sinner." To which the LORD replied, "What are you complaining about? They won't let Me in either."

Kid, that has to be one of my favorite books, and even though it's been a few years since I read it, I always remembered that anecdote. How true it is!
