My New Year's resolutions for 2006

In no particular order of priority, these are the things I want to do and accomplish in the next year.

Keep up my new eating habits to reach my goal weight of 150 pounds.
Move somewhere out of state
Finish the painting my aunt's been bugging me about since I was 20.
Keep not shopping at Wal-mart.
Read the entire Chronicles of Narnia series
Publish my first scientific article

I don't make resolutions, for the plain and simple fact that I break them within 24 hours of stating what they are.
I do have one and only one main goal for next year, Greg and I are buying a house. It's time to leave the in laws for our own place. I can't wait, and your invited to the house warming.

Bro, I have a couple of concerns about Wal-mart's business practices, so I choose to take my money elsewhere. Besides not paying their employees very well, discriminating against overweight, handicapped, and other "unhealthy" people, and squeezing good American businesses out of the marketplace, they also cheat their shoppers. Recently Wal-mart was found to have an unacceptably high rate of falsely advertised prices... items that ring up higher at the register. I just don't feel good about going there.
